Our family is continuing our international (local) Friday lunches. We were on a road trip the last 2 Fridays enjoying the local food of Pensacola (check out Whacked out wieners) and New Orleans (yummm – Cafe du Monde!).

But we jumped back in the Omaha scene with Mangia Italiana! OMG!! Yum yum yum!!

After some adventurous meals on our trip the kids requested something more familiar. We feasted on garlic cheese bread, baked ravioli with Sugo sauce, and the blanco pizza. Everything was so good! We chose to pack up some leftovers so we could have dessert! We sampled the lemon cannoli and tiramisu. Delicious!

We read the story of the family that started Mangia and talked with the very helpful and friendly staff. It was a great experience! Molto saporito! (Very tasty!)
